XINGHUO Glass Holds Third Employee Sports Meeting

The third XINGHUO Glass employee sports meeting took place on March 24, 2025, with staff from every department taking part in a day of track, ball, and team events. The meeting closed with trophies and certificates for the winning individuals and teams.

The Day Itself

The opening ceremony began at around nine in the morning, with each department entering the ground in formation. Company leaders opened the day with a short speech, encouraging staff to compete hard and to work as teams rather than as individuals. Events ran from the morning through to the afternoon, and staff at XINGHUO Glass took part from every department in the company.

What Was on the Programme

The programme covered track and field, ball games, and team events. Sprinting and the relay races drew the largest crowds on the track; badminton and table tennis ran indoors through the day; the inflatable ball game and the tug-of-war were the two events that pulled in people who had not signed up for anything else.

Nothing on the programme needed specialist equipment or a background in sport, which is deliberate. The point is participation across the whole company rather than the result of any one event.

Team Events and the Closing Ceremony

The group events carried the day. Tug-of-war and the relay races put departments that rarely work side by side onto the same rope and the same baton, and both finished with the kind of noise that a company notice cannot produce. At the closing ceremony, company leaders handed out trophies and certificates to the winning individuals and teams and thanked the organisers, who had run the whole day on top of their normal shifts.

A factory that produces on schedule depends on people in different sections knowing who they are dealing with, and a day of team events does that more cheaply than most alternatives.
