Model XHGPH20 is a 1000 ml borosilicate glass teapot built to sit over a flame. The body takes boiling water straight from the kettle and holds it over gas or a candle warmer without cracking. A bamboo lid sits in a 304 stainless collar; the steel ring keeps the bamboo flat as it heats, which stops the lid splitting at the grain. Tea goes in loose. A 304 stainless vortex filter inside the spout catches the leaf as you pour, so there is no basket to lift out. The C-shaped glass handle leaves the body at the shoulder and stays cool.
