XHGPH42
Model XHGPH42 is a 420 ml hammered glass teapot, hand-blown in high borosilicate so boiling water goes straight in. The wall is thickened through the body and the pattern is raised by hand, so no two pots match exactly.
The eagle-beak spout is drawn to a fine point, so the stream cuts off clean instead of running down the wall. Inside the rim sits a built-in glass filter with 12 hand-cut slots: leaf stays in the pot and the liquor stays clear. The lid and knob are coloured glass, fused on rather than glued. An amber C-shaped handle sits clear of the body, and glass conducts heat slowly, so it stays comfortable for a normal pour.
Packing is 1 pc per inner box and 8 pcs per carton, MOQ 5,000 pcs. Matched cups in the same pattern are available for set builds.

20 daysA 420 ml pot sits between a single-cup brewer and a family teapot: enough for two or three top-ups, small enough that the second infusion still tastes fresh. Everything on this model is arranged around that middle size.
The tip is drawn out and turned down slightly, the way a bird's beak ends. Tea leaves in one narrow stream and stops at the tip instead of tracking back under the rim.
A glass wall sits inside the mouth with 12 slots cut by hand. Leaf and whole flowers stay behind it, so the pour runs clear without a separate strainer to lose.
The knob and the lid are cut from the same coloured glass and formed as one piece, so there is no glued joint to yellow or collect tea. The knob is wide enough to grip with wet hands.
The C handle is amber glass, welded to the wall at two points and set well clear of the body. Glass moves heat slowly, so a normal pour is comfortable; a long steep is still a cloth job.
The pattern is raised by hand while the glass is still soft, then the wall is built up through the whole body. It reads as texture on the shelf and as weight in the hand.

Figures are quoted capacity and nominal dimensions. Hand-blown bodies vary by roughly 2 mm in height and 3 g in weight, which is normal for this process and is allowed for in the carton spec.
High borosilicate is the reason a glass pot can sit on a burner at all, but the heat source still matters. The one buyers get wrong is the difference between an electric ceramic hob, which radiates heat and works, and an induction hob, which needs a magnetic base this glass does not have.
Yes, on low to medium and with tea or water already in the pot. Keep the flame under the base rather than licking up the wall, and never set an empty pot on a live burner.
Yes. A radiant ring passes heat straight into the base with no magnetic field involved, which is exactly what this glass needs. Give the ring time to cool before you lift the pot off.
Yes, and a 420 ml pot is a natural fit for one. A tea light under a wire stand holds two or three cups at drinking temperature without stewing the leaf.
No. There is no ferrous layer in the base, so an induction ring will not read the pot and will simply switch off. A stainless disc between hob and pot is the workaround.
We do not rate this pot for microwave use, so we will not sell it as microwave-safe. Heat the water in a kettle and pour it in, which is how the pot is meant to be used anyway.
Yes, on a normal cycle with the lid off. Hand washing keeps the hammered surface brighter for longer, and it is the better habit for anything going into retail packaging.
The hammered look is the first thing a buyer notices and the first thing they ask about on a sample review, so it is worth being precise about how it is made and what variation to expect.
The body is blown to shape, then the pattern is worked into the wall while the glass is still at forming temperature. It is not a moulded surface and it is not etched afterwards, so the dents have depth rather than a printed look.
Wall thickness is built up across the whole body, not just at the base. That is what lets the pattern hold its shape through annealing and what gives the pot its weight when a buyer picks it up.
Two pots from the same batch will not have identical dimples. Height runs within about 2 mm and weight within about 3 g, which is normal for hand work. Say so on the listing and you avoid the return conversation later.
For buyers building a hammered range, the same wall and the same amber handle run across the 460 ml teapot set with two cups, so a shelf can carry both without looking mismatched.
Wash with warm water and a drop of washing-up liquid, rinse, and stand it upside down to drain. No need to boil it first and no need for a vinegar soak, whatever the forums say.
Always with liquid inside. Flame or radiant ring under the base only, never up the side wall. Take the pot off before it boils dry, and let it cool on a trivet rather than a cold stone counter.
A soft sponge and liquid soap. No steel wool, no scouring powder, no oven cleaner. For the 12 filter slots, a soft brush or a wooden toothpick clears leaf without scratching the cut edges.
Bicarbonate of soda with warm water lifts tannin in about ten minutes. Store with the lid off so the mouth can breathe, and do not stack pots mouth-down on each other.
A 420 ml pot suits two or three drinkers, so it is bought where the brewing is part of the service rather than where a large table has to be filled at once.

We run lead-free crystal and high borosilicate as our two main lines, with blowing, pressing and decorating under our own roof. The borosilicate range covers pots, jugs and cups on the same furnaces. This pot comes off the borosilicate side, the same line that makes our 1000 ml bamboo-lid teapot and the 2200 ml glass jug.
Hand-hammered does not mean uncontrolled. Height, weight and mouth diameter are measured against our spec on every batch, and any pot that fails the handle check does not go into the carton. If a run drifts, you hear it from us before it ships.
ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are certified to Jiangsu Xinghuo Technology, not borrowed from a trading partner. Factory audit reports, material declarations and migration test reports for your batch are available before deposit.
5,000 pcs, packed 1 pc per inner box, 2 inner boxes to a middle box and 4 middle boxes to a carton, so 8 pcs per export carton. Mixed orders across the hammered range count towards the same MOQ.
With liquid in it, yes, on low to medium. High borosilicate is rated for a 170 °C thermal shock, which covers boiling water going into a room-temperature pot. What it does not cover is an empty pot on a live flame, or a hot pot set down on a wet cold surface.
The handle is glass, and glass is a poor conductor, roughly one-fortieth of steel. It sits clear of the wall at two weld points, so a normal pour is comfortable. After ten minutes over a candle warmer, treat it like any hot vessel and use a cloth.
No. The pattern is worked by hand while the glass is soft, so dimple size and placement vary between pots. Height holds within about 2 mm and weight within about 3 g. If you need a matched retail set, say so and we will pick from one production run.
The filter is part of the mouth, not a removable basket. Twelve slots are cut by hand into a glass wall inside the rim. A soft brush or a toothpick clears them in a few seconds, and because it does not come out, it cannot be lost.
Yes. The same hammered wall and amber handle run on a four-cup set, and the cups can travel in the same carton as the pots. Tell us the pot-to-cup ratio and we will quote it as one line.
The body is lead-free high borosilicate intended for normal food-contact use. Migration test reports are available on request for the batch you order, and we send them before the deposit rather than after.
Both. The logo can go on the colour box, on a belly band, or etched on the base. The amber handle colour is fixed, but the lid and knob can run in other colours above 5,000 pcs. Artwork proof comes back within three working days.
